Friday (Nov. 19th)

I noticed that I was right about my talent. I did know what I am good at and what I would be good at. I was so happy to know that. After a lot of test I became to know that I am going in the direction that I want and what will help God and others. I am really thrilled and excited for my future! I hope I would do better and later on I could help others and can do what God wants me to do.

Monday (Nov. 15th)

I learned that I like to do work in the bright light rather than in the darkness. This will help me set my studying environment, so I could concentrate more easily. The test also said that I like to study by doing activities. I really agreed with that because I do learn fast by experiment it then reading it from the book. This conclusions and result will help me a lot on how I would pick my career that will be just right for me.

Friday (Nov. 12th)

I noticed that I really think that helping others is the most important thing. Helping others make me and the people feel good. I love when people are happy, it makes me happy too. The second thing I think that is important is to fit in. If I can’t fit in a place I feel lonely and not a place that I am suppose to be in. If I don’t feel that I belong in the place then I would have a hard time helping people because I became the person that needs some help.

Talents(Wendsday Nov. 10th)

God says we all have talents. Define Talent:

Talent is a natural ability of doing well on something. Some people think they don’t have any talent, but that is wrong! Everyone has at least one talent. They just didn’t figure out what it is.

What do you think are your particular talents?

I already knew that I have leadership, responsibility, hands on skills, and others like demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviors, working with others, and participate in projects and task. I did several tests that my parents made me do to figure out my talent. Every test it says I’m good at leading people. I even know I’m good at making stuff because I like to make stuff to people and people say that I am really skilled in making stuff. The others that I think is my particular talent are because of school. I really don’t like getting bad grades so I became responsible and participate in projects and task. People can figure out that I demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviors when they are next to me, because I don’t like people to be down and sad. I even know that I’m good at working with others, because I mostly understand others and accept their opinion.

Thought Questions (Monday Nov. 8th)

How do you plan on choosing a career?
I plan to choose my career depending on what I am good at and what I like to do. This would make my life happy because if I do a career that I don't like then it won't have a happy time doing my career. I will consider money in choosing my career, because I need money to live in this world. However money isn't that much of a deal to me than choosing what I am good at and what I like to do. For me, I would like to be a pharmacist or a building designer. The reason why I want to be a pharmacist is because I want to help people by giving medicine when they are sick. The reason why I want to be a building designer is because I like building or making stuff.
Does your gender make a difference?
The gender would make a difference because still in communities some people prefer men. So I should be working harder than others. I even could have children to take care. I need to consider that I'm a girl or a woman when I pick a job.
Who will help you choose a career?
The teachers, parents, councilor, friends and lots of people around me would help. Teachers could encourage me to choose something I am good at. Parents could help because they know our talents because they are very interested in what their child are good at. Councilors can discuss and suggest college that we could go to with our grades. Lastly friends could tell who I am that I don’t know about me.
Can the Bible offer any help?
I don’t know if the Bible offer any help because I never sought for my future and career in the Bible. However I think the Bible does offer help. Bible may look like a book that just tells stories about Jesus and says to believe in God. It does say that but that is just the general thing that people see in the Bible. In the Bible there are good suggestions for life. I don’t exactly remember, however I do know there is a suggestions for life.

Paraphrasing, Quotation, Summary

Quotation is when sentences or passages remain unchanged. Paraphrasing is when you restate a passage in people’s own word. Lastly, summary is restating a passage with the author’s words that were used. For example, I have a dog, and it is a Husky. The Quotation is “I have a dog, and it is a Husky”. For summarizing “I have a Husky”. For paraphrasing “I obtain a dog that’s called Husky”.

How to use a mechanical pencil.

Do you know how to put some led in a mechanical pencil and then use it? I hope you do! If not you could read this and try it out. There are several ways to put in led in a mechanical pencil. Before you start, you need to have a mechanical pencil and the amount of led that you need to put in the mechanical pencil. Next open the top part of the mechanical pencil where you put your pencil led in. If you can't find it, it is in the top part of the  mechanical pencil. After that put the led in and close it with the cap or eraser that was on the top. Then press the top part of the mechanical pencil until a black led comes out from the bottom where the led comes out for you to write. There are some mechanical pencils that needs to be pushed on the side for the led to come out, but I explained the general mechanical pencil that people have.

Voice

Voice explains the character feelings, emotion, details of the story or the character and tells the story line in the story. Voice even makes the story more realistic and interesting.

Dear my little one don't be afraid. Your father would be here in just a few month. Be brave like Superman who always saves the world. No need to worry about food. I'm trying my best to get food for you guys to eat and not starve. I will never let you guys starve. We still have hope in the future. You guys might have a better life then this. I beleive you guys can have a better life in the future. Don't loose hope you guys! We will survive....

The Wolf and the Three Little Pigs

I was at the court waiting for my court to start. When it started I said “Dear judge, I stand before you today to prove that I, the wolf, is innocent to this trial. I am criticized by the little three pigs. I never wanted to eat those three pigs.”

The straw house pig said to the judge “Yes my judge, he was trying to eat me and my brothers of cores!” The pig stared at me with anger.

The stick house pig continued “He was drooling when he saw me and my brother when we were playing our interments as if that we were food to the wolf!”

The judge, that was and owl, asked me “Is it true that you drooled when you saw Mr. Pig?”

I replied “Yes, I was drooling, but not because I was hungry. I heard music when I was passing the three little pig’s house. They looked happy and they just moved in so I wanted to greet them and show them I’m not their enemy. I went their where they were singing. I just smiled at smiled at them. I think they saw my smile and thought I was drooling because my smile may look like I’m hungry but I am not.”

The straw hose pig asked me “Then what was the bag you carried? “

I answered “It was the presents for you guys. Before I went to greet you guys I went to a store and bought bread for you guys to eat. If you don’t believe me you can go ask the store owner.”

The stick pig asked “Then why did you come on tiptoes?”

I replied calmly “I was trying to surprise you guys.”

The owl nodded and looked at the paper and asked me “Then what was the purpose of blowing the houses?”

I explained the story “It’s because of the music that the pigs were singing. The one that goes ‘Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf…’ The lyrics made me mad, especially the part where it says ‘the big bad wolf.’ It offended me, but I went there trying to smile and they ran away into their house. I knocked on the door but no one answered. I’m bad at waiting, so I blow the house down to get the pigs and talk to them that they offended me.

The brick house pig said “But I heard my dear brothers telling me that you grabbed them when they were running away from you.”

I replied “I was trying to stop them to go into their house and lock their doors, because I knew they won’t come out.”

The owl nodded again and asked me “Then when you blew the stick house was it the same reason as the straw house?”

I nodded and said “Yes, my honorable judge.”

The owl asked “Then what was the sheep skin for?”

I replied “The sheep skin was to make the pigs let me in, so I can talk to them.”

The stick house pig asked me “Then how do we know that you are not going to eat us?”

I said to the pigs “If I was trying to eat you guys I wouldn’t ask you guys to let me in.”

The owl thought for a minute and asked me again “Then when you disguised as a brush man, was it the same reason?”

I nodded my head very hard because I was innocent.

The brick house pig asked me “I have a question for you wolf! Why did you try to come through my chimney instead of asking politely through the door?”

I got annoyed and angry because I remembered what happened when I went in the chimney. However I held my anger because I was in a court. “It’s because you guys won’t let me in at all and I thought it was ok to go through the chimney but there was a hot pot of water. Wait….. Why did you guys put a pot under the chimney? Was the pot for dinner? But I saw u guys just ate lunch… Were you guys trying to just frame me for no reason?!”

The pig got nervous and no one spoke for a while.

The owl said “Dear Mr. Pigs and Mr. Wolf this court can’t get longer than this. I think we need to delay this court to another time. There is another court that is going to happen in a few minutes. Thank you for your cooperation in this court. Next court please!

I and the pigs came out from the court and went to our own house until the next court happens.

The Horror of Lies

Once there was a boy named Peter. He was just like any other boy. He loved music, games, cars, and sports. He got along with his friends and his grade scores were average. However, Peter loved to lie. He would always lie to the teachers and to his friends, but nobody knew he lied to them. That is  because Peter would always prepare for his lies. Getting ready to lie might be difficult, but he did it because he liked to see people get fooled by his little pranks. When he was young, he saw a TV show that tricked people for fun. He loved that TV show, and he became interested in fooling other people with his pranks. Another reason that he lied was to avoid doing homework because he was to busy making up pranks.
One school day, he got up in the morning and prepared for his first prank. He went to a friend named Sophia. They both rode the same bus. He went to her and said “Hi, Sophie! How are you doing this morning?” Sophia answered back. “Hi, Peter! Are you ready for school?” Peter went on with his plan. He started to act as if his stomach hurt very badly. Sophia asked “What’s wrong Peter?! Are you OK? Should I go get some medicine from the drugstore?” Peter didn't say anything but just groaned. Sophia was so worried that she ran to the nearest drugstore to get medicine for Peter. Peter ran into the bushes to see how she would act if he was gone. Sophia came with the medicine. “Peter where are you? Peter! Where did he go!” The school bus came and Sophia didn’t know what to do, so she went on the bus and dialed Peter. Peter didn’t answer the phone, because it was part of his plan. After the school bus left he laughed so hard that tears came to his eyes. Then he realized he didn’t have any way to go to school. He didn't have money for a taxi. He couldn’t go back home because if he did, his mom would be suspicious of him. He decided to ask the police officer right across the street to ride him to school. He went to the police officer. Peter said “Hello, officer! My name is Peter. I’m 11 years old and I need to go to school but I missed the bus today… Could you give me a ride please?” The officer said he would love to. So the police officer drove Peter to school. While the officer was driving, he asked questions to Peter. Peter lied because he knew he wasn't going to see that police officer again. The officer asked “Why did you miss the bus? I saw you wondering around the bus stop earlier this morning.” Peter calmly lied about it. “I couldn’t ride the bus because I needed to get medicine for my sick friend, Sophia.” The police officer was pleased that Peter was trying to help a friend. He asked if it was the girl that was with him, and Peter said yes. He was late for school but got excused, because the police officer thought he didn’t mean to be late. After lunch, there was a carrier finder program. Today job was a police officer. When the police officer came in, Peter did not recognize him. However, the officer recognized Peter. The police officer talked about his job and about respecting the rules. After that ended, he said something that changed Peter’s life. He said that he was proud to know there was a student who tried to help a friend despite being late to school. He called Peter out. Peter then noticed it was the officer who drove him to school, and became nervous. The officer asked if Sophia was here. Sophia was confused because she didn't know why the officer called for her. The officer asked if her stomach was OK. Sophia didn't understand the police officer. The police officer became confused too. Peter ran away. He ran and ran and ran. He was crossing a bridge to go back home, when suddenly he saw the police officer and Sophia running towards him. He was so scared he couldn’t. He just stood there and screamed out loud! He didn’t know what to do… He regretted his actions. Sophia and the officer were coming closer and closer. What should he do? Should he tell the truth or should he keep on lying?

Good Writing!

What characteristics describe "good" writing?
A good writing is in the words. To get a good writing it would be good to write with exclusive words and you need to make sence with your writing. Using fancy words would make the writing more luxurious, and if you don't make sence in the writing it's not a writing, because no one can understand the writing. People need to understand to be a good writing. For example, little kids can't understand William Shakespeare's stories, so they think the stories is not good but people who understand says the stories are wonderful. So in colclusion, if you want a good writing you need to use fancy words and needs to make the writing understanding.
What is the process of writing?
The first step you need to have a topic to write. That is the most important thing to do in writing! After you choose the topic you need to organize your thoughts. You could organize your thought by drawing a tree map or doing other stuff that might help you to organize your thought. After organizing you could write. After writing the thought, you need to write the conclusion to organize your theme and thoughts.
